This was the sound of The Wirral Singers and Ringers on Saturday 9th December who gave a wonderful Christmas Concert in aid of The Boat Museum Society.
Under the direction of Gill Brady and Ian Robertson accompanied by Rose MacPherson, The Wirral Singers and Ringers presented a mixed programme of Christmas music, readings, traditional carols and hand bells to a packed and lively audience in the Island Warehouse. The repertoire ranged from Shakespeare to Irving Berlin.
Mince pies, tea and coffee were served during the interval along with the opportunity to purchase tickets for raffle. Proceeds from the ticket sales and raffle will go towards BMS projects with a donation also going to the choir.
Thanks must go to all volunteers, staff, management and all others that helped to make this another pleasant and successful evening from the choir and bell ringers.
